I’m excited to finally share that Mad Cave Studios is publishing DENVER, the sci-fi crime comic by longtime friend and collaborator Jimmy Palmiotti, myself, and Pier Brito, with lettering by our late friend Bill Tortolini.

If hard-edged sci-fi and crime are your thing, I think you’re going to dig this one. And the artwork from Pier is phenomenal.

In a near-future world drowned by rising oceans, Denver survives as one of the last tightly controlled safe zones on the planet where every resource is rationed and every citizen is monitored. Max Flynn, a veteran border officer struggling to protect his family under these unforgiving rules, is shattered when his wife is suddenly kidnapped. A mysterious enemy forces him to betray Denver from within or lose her forever. As Max assembles a trusted crew and descends into the city’s underbelly, his desperate hunt threatens to expose the cracks in Denver’s rigid order and ignite a reckoning that could end the last safe city on Earth.

Finally, while it is still under construction www.bleedingpulp.com is live with a look at the NSFW Voltessa Masquerade of the Macabre covers I’m unable to show on the Kickstarter campaign as well as the opportunity to preorder a limited number of them. For right now the majority of the comics are offered in digital format, but I will be expanding to include printed collections.
